Cory Monteith Meets Fans At Westfield Sydney

Today over 500 Australian Glee fans met Canadian actor and musician Cory Monteith at Westfield Sydney - city store.

Cory was there to promote Glee The Concert on Blu-ray and DVD, which fans snapped up from the JB Hi-Fi pop-up store.

It was wonderful to see Cory speak and get up close with the fans, as its the fans who ultimately tune in and buy merchandise which keeps actors in a gig.

Cory told the crowd that he was looking forward to holding a koala, which has long been a favourite wish of overseas actors while visiting our shores.

Something tells us a few of the young women in the audience might have imagined Cory was a koala, and wanted to cuddle up to him.

Show business bottom line - a lot of Glee DVD's were sold today, so it looks like long trip out here has paid for itself, and then some.

Glee can be seen on pay TV channel Foxtel many times per week, and of course now there's even more opportunities to own some of the Glee franchise on DVD.

A new series of Glee will be hitting Foxtel in 2012.

Extreme Cabaret Zeta Bar Hilton Halloween Girl - 28th October 2011

Sydney’s Zeta Bar at the Hilton Hotel got a bit of a leg up on the other Halloween themed entertainment tonight as their extreme cabaret unleashed Halloween Girl.

She was unmistakable, as Halloween girl showed off her skeleton er legs, torso et al.

This creation was one that you would not likely find at Luna Park or in a school classroom.

The dancing skeleton stirred up patrons appetite for a drink, nibble and photo opportunities, and there was plenty of tease in the mix.

Model Anastasiya Bakss pulled off the dancing skeleton routine beautifully, and seemed to get right into the spirit of things.

Someone from the crowd was overheard "My Halloween dream has come early. I've got the treat here, not the trick. This is tickling my funny bone".

You wouldn't have guessed, but tonight's creation was made up in only an hour. The creation was a massive hit at the Zeta Bar, and word spread around other floors of the Hilton.

Snatch the opportunity to do Sydney in a naughty and teasing way. Come again to Sydney Hilton next Friday night and experience the new phenom known as 'extreme cabaret'. Trick or treat? You will have to join us to find out.

Elle Macpherson new face of Invisible Zinc Myer Sydney, by Eva Rinaldi - 21st October 2011

Elle Macpherson

Elle Macpherson has scored her latest product endorsement, Invisible Zinc, letting the cat out of the bag at Myer Sydney today.

The famous super model is in Australia for both business and family matters (her father Peter Gow fighting a battle with cancer).

Elle looked great as she appeared in the popular Cosmetics Hall.

Friend Melissa Hoyer interviewed Elle on topics such as beauty products, lifestyle and what's she's learned about Suncare. Yes, of course Invisible Zinc got a mention by name, and the news was all good.

Myer group general manager Judy Coomber was very pleased about how everything went.

Elle, thank you for stopping by and letting us get some great shots, and all the best with your exciting business ventures and family matters in Australia.

Extreme Cabaret Zeta Bar Hilton Sydney Style, by Eva Rinaldi - 30th September 2011

Sydney's Zeta Bar patrons have spoken and requested that the famous Hilton Hotel continued on their delightfully wicked extreme cabaret Friday nights in 'Sin City'.

Throw away prohibition darlings. It's just about anything and everything carny (carnival) that's still legal. Call it vice like if you will, but its lots of fun and Hilton is a very happy place these days come every flirty Friday.
Human Statue Bodyart continues to dish up hot cabaret with an unmistakable 'Moulin Rouge' flavour. Tonight pink and purple were in vogue, both with the model and patrons.
One patron was overheard "Pink and purple people and man eater" (but perhaps that was just their Friday night fantasy (which is legal boys and girls).
Cabaret lovers that got wind of rumours re 'Extreme Cabaret' theme continuing at Hilton Sydney longer were on the money, and now we learn that Hilton Hotel Gold Coast is set to be hit by 'Extreme Cabaret' fever next week. It ought to shake up things at Surfers Paradise and up the ante for both the local and tourist entertainment dollar, with Jupiter's Hotel and Casino, and Palazzo Versace tipped to do something to attempt to combat the excitement at Hilton. Heck, they may like to try out the cabaret themes too for all we know. We've heard that Hilton New Zealand, United States and Amsterdam, are keen as a hot pink stripper to incorporate extreme cabaret into their big entertainment nights.
Human Statue Bodyart may have access to hundreds of performers and models, but the patrons spoke and requested that Anastasiya Bakss return, and Hilton delivered. Tonight she was made up in a 50's style cabaret - burlesque like pink and purple feathered number, with headpiece feathers fit for a queen (or pink peacock). Ms Bakss epitomised tease, burlesque, titillation, sexiness and all sorts of other good things.
The extreme cabaret have been great for the Zeta Bar and we know it's been terrific for business. Downstairs at the Marble Bar, just off celebrating its 118th birthday, also has appeared to have benefited by extra patrons, most of which enjoy a good drink (and tease).
Zeta Bar's Grant Collins says of the naught nights "a late-1800s circus freak show crossed with 1920s-'30s sophistication".
The filthy fun and flirty Friday nights at Sydney Hilton continue to be a watercooler fodder conversation piece in offices (and God knows where else) in and around Sydney's CBD for months.
Snatch the opportunity to do 'Sin City' Sydney like it should be done. Grab you're spanking partner and head over to Sydney Hilton Zeta Bar next Friday, and see what all the fun (and tease) is about. Friendly oddballs, light vice and 'extreme cabaret' in abundance. We're sure you'll having a spanking good time.

Mulberry celebrates Vogue's Fashion Night Out in Sydney, by Eva Rinaldi - 8th September 2011

The countryside came to town at Westfield Sydney... it was the Mulberry Autumn Winter 2011 collection, with foxes feathers, woodlands and all manner of wonderful creatures inspiring their newest offerings.

It was a night of fashion, fun, traditional and eclectic English touches, with mojitos, face-painting, cupcakes, prizes and of course, celebs.

If you didn't know, Mulberry is part of Club 21 - an international leader in lifestyle luxury.

The big picture in the industry selling product, and gift bag giveaways are all the rage, but don't expect "discounts" as such. Celebs and the right media buzz push the machine along, and positive reviews are highly sought after. A positive point of difference, such as Mulberry's foxes and friends, helps their campaign stay in the spotlight. Bodyart was used most effectively, and we hear that many of their competitors will give the paint a go at their next big fashion event.

Vogue Australia editor-in-chief Kirstie Clements was delighted about the way the whole event came together.

Vogue's Fashion Night Out is officially supported by the City of Sydney, and saw 600 retailers host in-store shopping events and special offers, including extended trading hours, designer meet and greets, cocktails and live performances.

The free event was open to all members of the public and included stores throughout Pitt Street Mall, Castlereagh St, Elizabeth St, Martin Place, David Jones, Myer and Westfield Sydney.

Big names at the event included Grant Pearce, men’s fashion director Condé Nast Hong Kong, VFNO ambassador Jessica Gomes, Lord Mayor Clover Moore and Westfield group managing director Australia and New Zealand, Robert Jordan.

Vogue Australia even debuted an iPhone application, 'Vogue VIP at VFNO', designed to deliver tips and premium offers on shopping and fashion.

Tonight Mulberry was one of the big stand outs and offered up fab fashion, eclectic English touches, and friends and guests sipped on berry mojitos, doubled with toadstool cupcakes.

Yes fashion insiders, it was the place to be seen and expect many of the night's wares to be the hottest fashions items this season.

Protect our foxes equal to man and womens best friend. R.I.P Buffy

Sydney Hilton Hotel Zeta Bar titillates and tantalises again with ‘extreme cabaret’ - 26th August 2011

Hilton Sydney’s Zeta Bar is continuing to take guests back to the sexy mystique of the nineteenth century underworld, or Underbelly if you will, every Friday night until the end of September.

Management, staff and guests are having a who ha of a time as the boundaries of traditional cabaret continue to be pushed, such is the is the titillating and tantalising nature of the
experience at Zeta’s brand new ‘Extreme Cabaret’, now into its 5th fantasy - devilish week.

It's world famous Zeta Bar was once again transformed into a theatrical era gone by. It's Moulin Rouge meets Burlesque, plus a dash of Underbelly, with live sensual themes to tantalise and titillate you naughty little guys and girls, and then of course you have the addictive cocktails to keep things kicking along. Don't drink too much please or you might end up dreaming about 'Eyes Wide Shut' and it's version of adult style fantasy fun and games. Oh, you must give 'Green Fairy' absinthe a go. It's the hip drink to have when being titillated by the ‘Extreme Cabaret’ were hear.

Zeta’s very own in-house ‘ringmaster’ of cocktails and international expert bar consultant, Grant Collins, is the mastermind behind Extreme Cabaret at Zeta.

“To mirror the unique and vibrant event concept, I have developed a menu of cocktails with the same theatre and ‘shock factor’ as the dramatic décor and extraordinary acts,” Collins said. “Be prepared to expect the unexpected at Extreme Cabaret! I have no doubt that the acts, atmosphere and cocktails will amaze everyone who experiences them and keep them coming back for more.”

Be there every funky and flirty Friday night, live entertainment will transport you to a lurid fantasy world, including pretty extreme burlesque performers, juggling little people, fire acts, complete with shock-humour and Ringmaster, and maybe even one or two unspeakables, but you will just have to get your body to turn up and find out for yourself you curious souls.

Last night it was one of our Human Statue models Anastasiya Bakss performing in a wonderful yellow and red 2 piece peacock feathered styled number, and believe me, there was more skin than feathers darlings.

Anastasiya was just wonderful once the performance got on the way. What the public didn't see was all of the hard work that went into the costume and make-up, backstage in the green room, as we worked to ultra stiff deadlines. The new gear we got from our friend Anne at Beauty and Spa Solutions worked a charm. The Hollywood studio kit helped us get just the right look on our models and the studio chair ensured the models were comfortable and relaxed as we transformed them into Extreme Cabaret superstars with the unique Human Statue look and style.

Network Nine 'Underbelly' stars were back in attendance tonight, but we're been asked not to name names.  You'll see some of them back on Channel Nine this Sunday night as 'Underbelly Razor' enters its second week back on the box.

Special thanks to Grant, Manual, Dave and Karina at the Hilton for keeping things running so beautifully for us, and partygoers might like to also add themselves to the Hilton Hotel Honours Club like my friend and I did.

If you desire to be titillated and tantalised to your hearts content, this is your opportunity to snatch and seize the night.

Australasian Gaming Expo Report, by Eva Rinaldi - 22nd August 2011

Today was a important day on the Australian gaming industry calendar. It's the third and final day of the 2011 Australasian Gaming Expo, held at Darling Harbour in 'Sin City' Sydney, Australia. The event comes at a time where the spotlight on the Australian gambling industry may have never been brighter or so politically red hot.  My company, Human Statue Bodyart, was delighted to be in the thick of the action. Enter the events world of the Gaming Technologies Association...

Australasian Gaming Expo Open Day In Sydney...

Over 150 gaming - gambling exhibitors enjoyed day three at the Australasian Gaming Expo Open at Sydney's Darling Harbour. Dozens of big name brands were there including IGT (and its new 'Sex And The City' slot game), Aristocrat Technologies Australia, Ainsworth, Konami, WMS, ShuffleMaster and Bally.

Most of the exhibitors were making a return appearance from last year. It appeared they're were more exhibitors than "punters".

It's a huge production, with over 15,000 square meters decked out in gambling gear.

While big name companies like IGT somewhat dominated the event, it was impossible not to also recognise some of the smaller operations, as well as a few of IGT's competitors of sorts, thanks to their considerable branding and marketing efforts.

Here's the list of all of entities I was blessed to be able to speak with and photograph:

IGT
Aristocrat Technologies Australia
Ainsworth
Bally
Maxgaming
Keno
Paynter Dixon Hospitality
Tenrod Australia
Rohrig
Choice Paper & Imaging
Allpride Signs & Marketing
Paltronics Australasia
Maximun Light

As you can see from our photographs showcased on our Flickr, a great time was had by all, and the event was largely a success for all involved.

For the record, some of my personal favorite games are 'Sex And The City', 'The Phantom', 'Queen Of The Nile', 'Aussie Gold', 'Rose Tattoo', 'Jaws', 'Wheel Of Fortune' and Keno.

It's going to be interesting to see what poker machine manufacture is the one that will step up to battle with the red hot IGT slot - 'Sex And The City'. Will it be Australia's own Aristocrat or an international entrant.

Good on the organisers for also having coffee and bites on hand. 4.5 stars out of 5 for an excellent event, and we'll look forward to being on hand next year for more of the fun and games that is the Australasian Gaming Expo.
